Who we are

Donelon Advisory ("we", "us") provides financial advisory services to construction businesses. Our contact for anything relating to your data is JP Donelon, jp@bfil.ie, Stables Lane, Tuam, Co. Galway, Ireland. We are the data controller for the information collected on this website.

What we collect and why

• Details you give us. When you submit the form on this site we collect your name, company name and phone number. We use these to contact you about the free discovery call you requested and, where relevant, the Construction Profitability & Cash Flow Review. If you book a call through the calendar on this site, Calendly also collects the details you enter there (such as your name and email address).
• Usage information. We use analytics tools that set cookies and collect information about how visitors use this site, such as pages viewed, approximate location, device type and interactions. These tools are Google Analytics, Meta Pixel and Microsoft Clarity. Meta Pixel also allows us to measure the effectiveness of our advertising on Facebook and Instagram.

Legal basis

We process the details you submit on the basis of taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry. Analytics and advertising cookies are used on the basis described in your browser settings and any consent indicated while using this site.

Where your information goes

Your details are stored in our customer relationship management system and calendar tools, and this website is hosted by Netlify. Analytics information is processed by Google, Meta and Microsoft under their own privacy terms. We do not sell your information, and we only share it with providers who help us run this service.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any engagement that follows, and in line with our professional and legal record keeping obligations. If nothing comes of your enquiry, you can ask us to delete your details at any time.

Your rights

Under UK and EU data protection law you can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw any consent you have given. Email jp@bfil.ie and we will respond promptly. You can also complain to your local supervisory authority: the Information Commissioner's Office (UK) or the Data Protection Commission (Ireland).
